The modus super series is also a great way to get yourself ready to take on the PDC. It is designed for all steel tip darts and scores are automatically uploaded to the score buddy app. This however comes in at around \u00a3180<\/p><\/li><li><p>in-between these you have the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Qrz3n7\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>blade board<\/strong><\/a> and the HD Board, Very nice indeed and it comes in well under the smartboard price at \u00a350<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>This for me is a revolutionary, I have always been a fan of soft tip darts and the way you can play at any time anywhere against anyone as long as you have WIFI, now steel tip is going that way. With the Score Buddy App you get automatic scoring and no more pretending.<\/p><p><\/p><h2><u>THE DARTS SMART BOARD<\/u><\/h2><p><\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3EHRFKM\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/mxenhdxgxx6f63fgv3h19u3rarbxsqhykuimvkoftdvwrder.jpg\" alt=\"link to amazons smart dartboard by unicorn\" title=\"link to amazons smart dartboard by unicorn\" \/><\/u><\/a><\/p><p><\/p><p>Ive Noticed over the years that some people like to exaggerate there actual averages and just tell themselves that the dart would have gone in if it wasn't for the TV being on etc, but now you can get accurate results on your progress without fooling yourself and others.<\/p><p>The colouring of the board is different but you get used to it and at the end of the day the scoring segments remain in the same position and the same size. I have used this for the past 2 months and I can honestly say that it<\/p><blockquote><p>\"builds confidence and takes your game to the next level\"<\/p><\/blockquote><h2><u>How to practice Darts<\/u><\/h2><p>It takes years (not for some people, MVG, Luke Littler, Josh Rock, Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis are exceptions to the norm when it comes to natural ability) to get to grips with the game, but as the old saying goes practice makes perfect.<\/p><p>I have written and trialled a darts practice routine that is shaped like a gym workout and it focuses on different aspects of the game for different days so you get to practice everything from small 2 dart checkouts to around the clock games.<\/p><ul><li><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/blog\/darts-q-school-gym-styled-training-plan\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>DARTS GYM STYLED PRACTICE ROUTINE THAT WORKS<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2><u>Lighting For your Board at Home<\/u><\/h2><p><br \/>There's some really nice lights you can get to go around it so you have bright coverage what ever time of day it is. If you look <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3aD4sCZ\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>here<\/u><\/strong><\/a> for a large selection of target lighting systems for your board, I would say that this is very important, it takes away the shadows that darts create when the lighting is wrong, leaving you with the vision of more space in the bed. This is the choice of board for the PDC and their players, they find this the best one to use for their hours and hours of daily practice without coming across durability problems. It is priced higher but it is clear favourite for most dart players and enthusiasts.<\/p><blockquote><p>\"The wires are thin to stop the darts hitting them and bouncing back out and it gives more target area for the higher scores\"<\/p><\/blockquote><p>The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NPLnLY\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>HD version<\/u><\/strong><\/a> is bright and looks sleek.<\/p><p>There is a huge selection of unicorn boards which are a great brand and a great board to use but as this is my opinion I am sticking to the smartbaord by unicorn.<\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ZOLf8q\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/pnmjimipg9gr9hhrin15celhn2oxcj4wscichyiffq8ohjiq.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"blade 6 dartboard\" title=\"blade 6 dartboard\" \/><\/u><\/a><\/p><h2><strong><u>Darts and Accessories<\/u><\/strong><\/h2><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/product\/flaming-dart-board-sticker\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/cyf3vmuugm3ydyi76hsnshlrek2j00bchvtnzghtbnac95b4.jpeg\" alt=\"link to the gym days flaming dartboard sticker\" title=\"link to the gym days flaming dartboard sticker\" \/><\/u><\/a><\/p><p>That's the boards and lights covered, now its the darts and the accessories that go with it. The Steel Dart barrel itself is always going to be down to player preference and how they feel in there hands and how they feel when coming to the release of the dart so this bit is down to you.<\/p><p>I personally use the Bristow style of dart but there are so many to choose from, heres a selection of darts you can try. Click<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3yg9H4U\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u> link<\/u><\/strong><\/a> to see.<\/p><h3>FLIGHTS AND STEMS<\/h3><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Tky2PQ\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/araw1wkh5rjgubce6utdhtsaiic34laikpsy5jqpsvnddpc0.jpg\" alt=\"a huge selection of dart flight and dart stems\" title=\"a huge selection of dart flight and dart stems\" \/><\/u><\/a><\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3OhSSfz\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>FLIGHTS AND STEMS<\/u><\/strong><\/a>. There are many forms of flights, some come in the standard shape and size which you will see a lot of people use when watching it on the TV or in a tournament, but the flights range from<\/p><ul><li><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3lentkP\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>kite Shape<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/li><li><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/42ckOsq\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>Pear Shape<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/li><li><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3TheZFW\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>Rounded shape<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p><p><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>They come in different toughness too. I like the stronger amazon flights as they last longer and don't get ruined as quick but I find the deflections worse with the thicker fight as it stops the other dart as its about to hit the board whereas the thinner dart flight takes more of beating and you have change them more regular.<\/p><p>The stems come in various lengths<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>Micro: 12.5-15 mm.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Extra short: 27-32 mm.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Short: 34-37 mm.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Intermediate\/ In-Between: 39-41 mm.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Medium: 42-49 mm.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Long: 50-65 mm<\/strong><\/p><p><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>and you can have aluminium shafts or nylon shafts. This is going to be affected by what type of dart you have, the type of dart and of course how you throw.<\/p><p>Some people throw hard and fast whilst other are slow and methodical, its all down to you and your style. Once again I would recommend trying all varieties and finding the right partnership between you, the dart, the stem and the flights.<\/p><p>It really is a case of trial and error when it comes to the accessories, if you can find a decent dart shop that allows you to try before buying then I would highly recommend this.<\/p><p><\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/collection\/ai-and-sports-1000-piece-impossible-jig-saw-puzzles\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/av1tdfjywi9aqchqrn4tfehep3fxdblvmkcuqbbmcyoskes7.jpeg\" alt=\"link to the gym days impossible jigsaw puzzles\" title=\"link to the gym days impossible jigsaw puzzles\" \/><\/a><\/p><h2><u>YouTube tutorials and commentary<\/u><\/h2><p>There are some great tutorial YouTube videos that can be looked at if you are brand new to the game and want to know the science behind the throw.<\/p><p>If you listen to<strong> <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WayneMardle\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>Wayne Mardle<\/u><\/strong><\/a> , Chris Mason, <strong>John Part<\/strong> and off course <strong>mark Webste<\/strong>r commentate you will regularly hear them talk about the throw and how a slight movement can be the end of the leg and every dart is as important as the last one.
